Manual Hurtaud BA Regional Manager

Manuel Hurtaud, BA

Regional Manager, C.N.A.R.:

Mr. Manuel Hurtaud joined FourQuest Energy in May 2008. Prior to joining FourQuest, Mr. Hurtaud worked at two other multi-national service companies. Over the past 15 years, he has completed various projects that included pre-commissioning, commissioning and specialty service work scopes. He has worked extensively in Canada, Mexico, South America, and Asia-Pacific. Mr. Hurtaud has comprehensive offshore and remote onshore operational experience including plant, pipeline, and well site job scopes. He started at FourQuest as the Operations Manager and moved into to the Regional Manager role in November 2010. Mr. Hurtaud graduated from the University of Alberta in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts.

 

Dan Stilet C.E.T. Regional Sales Manager

Dan Stilet, C.E.T.

Regional Sales Manager: 

Mr. Dan Stilet is the Regional Sales Manager for the Canadian and North American Region and has been with FourQuest since January of 2011.  Mr. Stilet started in the industry with an international pumping company in 1989 and has since worked with other large pipeline and process service companies in various roles including both sales and operations management.  Mr. Stilet graduated from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in 1991 with a Petroleum Engineering Technology diploma and is currently a Certified Engineering Technologist with the Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta.

 

 

 

 

 

Kraig Shepherd P. Eng. Operations Manager

Kraig Shepherd, P. Eng.

Operations Manager, Western Canada:

Mr. Kraig Shepherd joined FourQuest Energy in 2008, shortly after its inception.  Mr. Shepherd worked previously at a multinational fluid pumping company.  During this time he had a wide range of experience on and offshore, both within Canada and internationally.  This included work on one of the largest FPSO’s in the world, offshore Nigeria.  Most of Kraig’s roles focused around engineering both at the field level and management positions, but he has recently moved in to Operations.  Mr. Shepherd graduated from Dalhousie University in 2004 with a degree in Chemical Engineering and a Science Degree.

Operations Manager, Eastern Canada:

Mr. Craig Higgins joined FourQuest Energy in June 2011 as Operations Coordinator for Eastern Canada. With 20 yrs experience in the industry, Mr. Higgins previously held both Operations and Project Management positions with an international service company. Over his career he has gained a wide range of experience both onshore and offshore covering many different services lines, within Canada and various international locations. In 1997 Mr. Higgins was heavily involved in the commissioning of Newfoundland's first offshore production platform and subsequent FPSO's. Prior to taking a position in St John's NL, Mr. Higgins spent a considerable time in Western Canada working on several high profile Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning projects. Mr. Higgins assumed the role of Operations Manager, Eastern Canada in January of 2012.

 

 

Andrew Smith B. Eng. Engineering Manager

Andrew Smith, P. Eng.

Engineering Manager:

Mr. Andrew Smith graduated in 2006 with a degree in mechanical engineering from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He then spent two years with an international service company working throughout Alberta and British Columbia on plant shutdown and pre-commissioning projects. Mr. Smith has been with FourQuest Energy since its inception in early 2008 and has served as Field Engineer, Project Engineer and most recently as Engineering Manager. Andrew brings with him knowledge from several Oilsands pre-commissioning work scopes as well as significant site experience in from a number of new construction projects.
