Nik Grgic, P. Eng.
President
Mr. Nik Grgic is the President of FourQuest Energy Inc., and has been with the company since its inception in December 2007. He has been involved with the oil and gas industry for more than 25 years, after graduating from the University of Belgrade in 1985 with a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering.
Mr. Grgic started his professional career as a process engineer in a petrochemical complex in his native Serbia. In 1993, he and his family immigrated to Canada, where he had to rebuild his career, starting as a field operator and working his way through the ranks to management. Prior to joining FourQuest Energy, he worked for 12 years with a major international oil and gas service company, where he held management positions in sales and engineering.
Mr. Grgic has been a registered Professional Engineer with APEGGA since 2001.
Karl Gannon
Executive Vice-President:
Mr. Karl Gannon graduated as an engineering technician with the Royal Navy in 1985 and joined an international oil and gas services company in the North Sea in 1992. In the late 90s, he transferred to the Middle East, assuming the role of Project Manager, where he managed over 13 large pre-commissioning/commissioning and maintenance projects across the Middle East and Asia Pacific. In 2003 he immigrated to Canada, carrying out a wide range of sales and business development roles.
Mr. Gannon has managed and trained numerous managers and sales professionals in business development and strategy. To answer the unique and diverse demands of FourQuest’s clients, he established new service lines and new trading divisions for the company. Since its incorporation, FourQuest Energy’s performance track record has increased significantly in global growth and development.
Evan Conrad, MPAcc, CA
Financial Controller:
Mr. Evan Conrad holds degrees in accounting from both the University of Alberta and the University of Saskatchewan, as well as being a registered member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta. He joined FourQuest Energy in December of 2012.
Mr. Conrad previously served as a senior project manager at a “Big Four” international accounting firm, providing assurance, tax, and advisory services for clients with public and private accountabilities. He was also the business manager of the largest segment of the firm’s Canada Regions West business unit for two years. He brings a unique blend of financial and business experience and leadership to the FourQuest finance team.
Kyle Scott, LL.B, MBA
General Counsel:
Kyle Scott joined FourQuest as General Counsel in May 2013. Mr. Scott holds both an M.B.A. and a degree in Law from the University of Western Ontario, and has been a lawyer in Alberta, Canada for over 20 years. After successfully completing his articles at a large Calgary firm, Mr. Scott worked in a variety of legal settings—from being a sole practitioner to working at large national law firms. He has been in-house counsel with a variety of companies involved in oil and gas, waste management, and information technology, and has also served as an analyst with a junior stock exchange.
Prior to joining FourQuest, Mr. Scott spent over eight years as a senior lawyer and regulatory specialist with a large Canadian integrated oil sands company, serving most of that time in Fort McMurray before returning to Calgary. His legal experience spans oil and gas, environmental, regulatory, securities, corporate-commercial, contract, and employment law.
Allan Saville
Corporate Training Manager:
Mr. Allan Saville joined FourQuest Energy in May 2011 as the Operations Manager for Eastern Canada. With over 20 years of experience, Mr. Saville has previously held operations and project management positions (including the responsibilities of being regional trainer) with international pumping companies. He has a wide range of experience on and offshore, both nationally and internationally, including work on one of the largest FPSOs in the world: offshore Nigeria.
For the past 15 years, Mr. Saville has been heavily involved in all aspects of personnel training and development throughout the world, and has been instrumental in the development and implementation of various training programs. In 2001, he immigrated to Western Canada, where he carried out a variety of operational and project management roles before moving to St. John’s, NL. Mr. Saville assumed the role of Corporate Training Manager in January of 2012.
