Manuel Hurtaud, BA
Regional Manager, C.N.A.R.:
Mr. Manuel Hurtaud graduated from the University of Alberta in 1995 with a BA in Arts, and joined FourQuest Energy in May 2008. Prior to that, he worked at two other multi-national service companies. Over the past 15 years, he has completed various projects, including pre-commissioning, commissioning, and specialty service work scopes. He has worked extensively in Canada, Mexico, South America, and Asia Pacific. Mr. Hurtaud has comprehensive offshore and remote onshore operational experience, including plant, pipeline, and well site job scopes. He started at FourQuest as the Operations Manager for Canada and assumed the role of Regional Manager, CNAR in November of 2010 before relocating to Houston, Texas in August of 2012.
Andrew Smith, P. Eng.
Engineering Manager, C.N.A.R.:
Mr. Andrew Smith graduated from Dalhousie University, Nova Scotia, Canada in 2006 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He spent two years with an international service company working throughout Alberta and British Columbia on plant shutdown and pre-commissioning projects, and has been with FourQuest Energy since its inception in early 2008. He has served as Field Engineer, Project Engineer and Engineering Manager in Canada. In February of 2013, Mr. Smith relocated to Houston, Texas, and assumed the role of Engineering Manager, CNAR. He is using the substantial experience he gained within the company to oversee the standardisation and further development of the engineering departments across the full region.
Vivianne Bridgeman
Human Resources Manager, C.N.A.R.:
Ms. Vivianne Bridgeman is a senior HR professional who joined FourQuest Energy in August 2012 as the Human Resource Manager. She has held various leadership positions in the snow sports, national security and monitoring services, and the piling industry, providing HR expertise in both start-ups and re-establishing HR departments within organizations. Ms. Bridgeman has over 15 years experience providing HR strategic services such as organizational restructuring and development, change management, process improvement, strategic planning, workforce management, talent acquisition, training, coaching, performance management, project management, compensation and benefits, and HRMS. Her focus is on developing collaborative processes as a business partner to foster learning, dialogue, and innovation.
Mark Gannon, B.Sc.
IT Manager, C.N.A.R.:
Mr. Mark Gannon graduated with a B.Sc. (Hons) in Computer Science from The University of Abertay Dundee, Scotland in 2003 and has worked in IT management and project specialist roles in the oil and gas, recruitment, and medical industry in the Middle East, Asia, US, and UK. He specializes in network and Microsoft server technologies and has managed global IT projects to implement and maintain server platforms and to design, develop, and improve network topologies. Mr. Gannon joined FourQuest in November 2012 as IT Manager to focus on implementing IT solutions that support the growth of the company and ensure business continuity throughout the ongoing development of our IT infrastructure worldwide.
Brett Archibald, C.E.T.
General Manager, Canada:
Mr. Brett Archibald, C.E.T., graduated from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in 1999 with a Petroleum Engineering Technology diploma and is currently a Certified Engineering Technologist with the Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta. He joined FourQuest Energy in May 2012 as General Manager for the Western Canada region. He has 12 years of experience in the industry, in large part working for a multi-national service company. Past operational field positions led Mr. Archibald to sites across Canada and to a large-scale project in the United Kingdom. He then moved into the Western Canada sales department, where he gained the majority of his experience, progressing through to the position of Western Canada Sales Team Leader.
Mark Stuckey
Sales Manager, Canada:
Mr. Mark Stuckey joined FourQuest in January 2013 as the Sales Manager of Canada. Mark arrived with 12 years of proven business development, professional sales, extensive knowledge of the oil sands market, and sales team development. He also has a mechanical background in steam power generation, the technical trades, and operational execution of multi-million dollar contracts. Mark’s last success was with a large multi-national service company, heading their business development and sales in the oil sands region. Mark’s sales background consists of territory development for services such as industrial cleaning, chemical cleaning, pigging and decoking, heavy equipment, hydraulics and pneumatics, and industrial supplies.
Bradley Lien, P. Eng.
Engineering Manager, Canada:
Mr. Bradley Lien graduated from the University of Alberta in 2006 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He spent three years with an international industrial refrigeration company, where he was responsible for process engineering, project management, and sales. He joined FourQuest Energy in early 2010 as a Field Engineer, and moved through the ranks to Project Engineer, Engineering Team Lead, and—starting in April 2013—Engineering Manager, Canada. Mr. Lien has extensive experience in oil and gas pre-commissioning and maintenance services. He strives to use his refined skill set to develop and expand the Canadian engineering department.
Carl Vogstad
Operations Manager, Western Canada:
Mr. Carl Vogstad joined FourQuest Energy in February 2010 as Operations Coordinator, bringing with him more than 20 years of experience in the oilfield industry. This includes a wide range of services such as pre-commissioning and maintenance activities in plants, along with downhole services including nitrogen, fluid pumping, and fracturing across Canada. He was promoted to Project Manager in May 2011 and spent the year running projects in B.C. and Alberta. In July 2012, Carl assumed the role of Operations Manager for Western Canada to oversee the growth of Operations.
Craig Higgins
Operations Manager, Eastern Canada:
Mr. Craig Higgins joined FourQuest Energy in June 2011 as Operations Coordinator for Eastern Canada. He has 20 years of experience in the industry, including both operations and project management with an international service company. Throughout his career, he has gained a wide range of experience both on and offshore, covering many different services lines within Canada and at various international locations. In 1997, Mr. Higgins was heavily involved in the commissioning of Newfoundland’s first offshore production platform and subsequent FPSOs. Prior to taking a position in St John’s, NL, Mr. Higgins spent a considerable time in Western Canada working on several high profile pre-commissioning and commissioning projects. He assumed the role of Operations Manager for Eastern Canada in January of 2012.
Jack Michaud
Operations Manager, Fort McMurray:
Mr. Jack Michaud joined FourQuest Energy in May 2013 as Operations Manager in Fort McMurray. He has over 12 years of experience in the SAGD process and oil sands industry. In that time, he has lead large projects and been involved in several outages, start-up, pre-commissioning, commissioning, maintenance, and turnaround activities. Mr. Michaud knows the importance of building relationships with his clients for day-to-day maintenance solutions and chemical cleaning requirements. He has built his strong reputation by exceeding client expectations while delivering innovative solutions and system and process improvements.
