Job Summary

The Experienced Field Engineer is responsible for the engineering, planning, execution, and technical oversight of chemical cleaning, high pressure cleaning, and hydrotesting scopes on industrial, pipeline, and facility projects. This role bridges engineering and field execution, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with client specifications, regulatory requirements, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide field engineering support for chemical cleaning, high pressure cleaning, and hydrotesting activities.
• Develop, review, and implement job-specific procedures, method statements, and work packs.
• Perform system walkdowns, identify tie‑in points, venting, draining, and isolation requirements.
• Support and oversee chemical cleaning operations including circulation, flushing, passivation, and preservation.
• Support and oversee high pressure cleaning activities including vessel, exchanger, piping, and system cleaning.
• Plan and execute hydrostatic testing activities including filling, pressurization, strength testing, leak testing, and depressurization.
• Ensure accurate data capture, pressure charts, test records, and final documentation.

Technical Scope of Work

Work Environment and Conditions

Job Summary

The Chemical Cleaning Technician supports and executes chemical cleaning activities on industrial piping, vessels, tanks, and process systems. This role involves operating temporary chemical cleaning equipment, handling chemicals safely, and performing cleaning tasks in accordance with approved procedures, permits, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup, operation, and teardown of chemical cleaning equipment including pumps, heaters, filters, hoses, and tanks.
• Perform chemical cleaning tasks such as flushing, circulation, degreasing, pickling, passivation, rinsing, and preservation as directed.
• Safely handle, mix, inject, and transfer chemical solutions in accordance with procedures and SDS requirements.
• Monitor operating parameters such as flow rates, temperature, pressure, and pH during cleaning operations.
• Collect samples and assist with cleanliness verification and documentation.

Job Summary

The Confined Space Entry (CSE) Technician is responsible for safely performing cleaning, inspection, maintenance, and related activities inside confined spaces such as vessels, tanks, and process equipment. This role requires strict adherence to confined space entry permits, safety procedures, and applicable regulatory and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply with all confined space entry permits, hazard assessments, and job-specific procedures.
• Participate in pre-job meetings, toolbox talks, and hazard reviews prior to entry.
• Enter vessels and tanks to perform cleaning, debris removal, inspection, and minor maintenance tasks.
• Conduct work using hand tools, vacuum hoses, high-pressure cleaning equipment, and approved chemicals.
• Continuously monitor atmospheric conditions as directed and immediately report unsafe conditions.
• Maintain communication with attendants, entry supervisors, and safety personnel at all times.
• Use and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respiratory protection.
• Assist with setup and teardown of ventilation, lighting, access, and rescue equipment.
• Follow lockout/tagout and positive isolation requirements before and during entry.
• Exit confined spaces immediately upon instruction or if unsafe conditions are identified.

Summary

Manage the logistics on the job including labor, equipment, customer relations, billing, safety and compliance. Provide chemical cleaning technical guidance and support to Field Technicians. Provide mentoring and coaching through on the job training and experience to increase their knowledge and abilities as well as review completed work. Ongoing communication with the client building relationships and overseeing jobs on site.
