Position Summary

FourQuest Energy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to serve as a technical liaison between Operations and the client, while also acting as a mentor to Engineers across multiple projects.

This specialist role is responsible for the engineering and development of procedures based on client requirements, overseeing job execution, providing technical recommendations, and leading small groups of engineers across one or more projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, leadership capability, customer-facing professionalism, and a passion for operational excellence and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering Procedures

• Develop specialized procedures for cleaning, flushing, testing, and related services.
• Solve problems involving momentum, mass and energy transport, fluid flow in piping, fluid mixing, and fluid compressibility using principles of chemistry, physics, mathematics, and engineering sciences.
• Perform engineering calculations such as:
  • Cleaning force ratio
  • Compressible and non-compressible flow
  • Fluid velocity
  • Volume and mass flow rates
  • Reaction force
  • Heat and mass transfer
• Interpret and mark up engineering drawings, including:
  • P&IDs
  • PFDs
  • Piping isometrics
  • Mechanical drawings
  • Other relevant technical documents
• Develop non-standard service procedures as required.
• Develop scope-specific risk assessments.

Project & Operational Management

• Manage procedure execution, equipment, and manpower in conjunction with the Project Manager.
• Supervise on-site execution of procedures to ensure Operations meets client expectations.
• Assign engineering tasks to small groups of engineers and oversee timely, accurate completion.
• Provide technical guidance to multiple individuals working on separate projects simultaneously.
• Review and approve procedures and procedural changes prepared by Field and Project Engineers.
• Verify logistics requirements for engineering procedures.

Client & Technical Liaison

• Discuss procedures, processes, and project requirements with clients to develop effective cleaning and testing plans.
• Make recommendations to clients regarding processes, methodologies, and procedures.
• Act as the liaison between Operations and clients on site.
• Provide project status updates to both Operations leadership and clients.

Sales & Proposal Support

• Assess requests for bids and develop methodology for execution.
• Determine equipment, materials, and manpower requirements for proposed jobs.
• Research and coordinate equipment and materials from vendors as needed.
• Work closely with Operations, Sales, and Proposals in the preparation of RFQs.
• Attend sales meetings and present technical information to clients.

Health, Safety & Quality

• Ensure all applicable safety legislation is followed and actively participate in FourQuest Health & Safety policies and practices.
• Communicate HSE concerns or issues to your Manager or Supervisor and provide practical solutions.
• Ensure safety obligations with clients are carried out according to contractual requirements and communicated effectively to all stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to FourQuest’s Quality Management Systems.

Other Responsibilities

• Work closely with Engineering leadership to support the execution and monitoring of company goals and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications

Education

• Degree in Engineering Sciences such as:
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Petroleum Engineering
    considered an asset

Certifications

• P.Eng. or EIT – Asset
• Class C Driver’s License – Required
• CDL – Asset
• Basic Plus – Required
• TWIC – Asset
• Basic First Aid – Asset
• Advanced First Aid – Asset
• PMP or equivalent professional certification – Asset

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in oil and gas field services related to FourQuest Energy’s service lines
• 5+ years of pre-commissioning experience

Working Conditions

Schedule

• Field schedule typically consists of 12-hour days
• Shop support schedule (when not in the field): Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call nights and weekends as required
• Due to the nature of the work, flexibility is required, including last-minute travel based on client needs

Travel

• Approximately 75% travel to client sites

Work Environment

• Requires regular periods of intense concentration to complete complex technical tasks
